| Trying to win a world with AOL’s old dial-up connection is like entering a medieval archery contest with a blindfold and a strongly worded apology. You line up the perfect snipe, steady your aim, click the mouse… and then wait. And wait. By the time the page loads, the enemy has retired, written memoirs, and come back for a reunion tour. Your teammates are shouting, “Take the shot!” but AOL is still making robot whale mating noises while buffering your destiny at 3% complete.
